My Favourite Spring Trends

Spring is here and the trends are beautiful. I would love to be following all of them, if only I had the money. Below are some of my favourite street style photos from Pinterest with ideas on how you could incorporate the Spring trends into your own style.
Enjoy!

Pastel Pink.

pink      SHOOP THE LOOK: Pink Vibe at Burberry Pastel Pink is on the Spring Summer map and was seen on the Burberry SS14 catwalk.

Hair chalk is a great way to get a temporary die in your hair, the same effect as dye without the commitment.
Pink was seen on the catwalk for multiple designers, this photo is model Cara Delevign for Burberry's SS14 collection.

Black & White.

RESORT 2014 Moschino / Moschino is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and kicked off the festivities with an extravaganza in Shanghai that included a runway showcase of the new Resort collection. It was a moment for the Italian label to focus on future expansion into the crucial Asian market, as well as a time to reflect upon the house's history. The new lineup captured the significance of both.

This is my favourite trend as I am not one to wear much colour. Catwalk photo is from a 2014 Moschino collection.

All White.

It's just something about white nails

Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear 3.1 Phillip Lim / Phillip Lim got deep into geology this season. And when asked, after his show, what got him so interested in the earth and its elements, the designer replied, simply, "standing on solid ground." Hmm. The comment was interesting not only because it was pretty opaque but also because the thing Lim got at really well in this collection wasn't earthen solidity but flux.

Painting your nails is a great and fun way to wear trends, if you have the time or patience to wait for them to dry. Catwalk photo is from Philip Lim's SS14 collection.

That is the end of my first proper post, hope you found this interesting or helpful.
